Sales Executive
Le Gray Beirut is looking for a dynamic, motivated, and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Sales team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling the hotel’s rooms, restaurants, spa, meeting facilities, and other services, while maximizing revenue and achieving the hotel’s sales and RevPAR targets.
Role Description
- Drive room and hotel facility sales while maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Conduct daily sales calls, client visits, and planned sales trips.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, guests, and business partners.
- Prepare monthly sales activity plans and reports, ensuring effective follow-up on all leads and opportunities.
- Maintain and regularly update the hotel’s sales database.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively develop the hotel’s client portfolio.
- Promote and upsell rooms, F&B outlets, spa, meeting facilities, and other hotel services.
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel rates, packages, promotions, contracts, and booking strategies.
- Monitor market trends and conduct regular competitor checks.
- Ensure groups and corporate bookings are properly contracted, deposited, and followed up.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure client requirements are met and service standards are maintained.
- Handle client and guest concerns professionally, efficiently, and with a guest-first approach.
- Work closely with the Finance team regarding credit matters and outstanding accounts.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the hotel’s rooms, suites, facilities, services, and local market.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, service standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of previous experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.
- Sales-oriented, proactive, and target-driven personality.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Strong knowledge of the local hospitality and corporate market.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Familiarity with hotel systems such as Protel and IdeaS is a plus.
- Professional appearance and excellent grooming standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
